WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

This Is Not a Classic Internship

The YOUNG Hospitality Internship is a high-ownership, real-operations learning track.

You are not here to observe.
You are part of the engine.

This role exists to:

  • Add real operational capacity to YOUNG Hospitality
  • Train future YOUNG operators through responsibility, rotation and execution

If you want comfort or slow learning, this is not for you.
If you want to grow fast inside real operations: read on.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Hospitality students or recent graduates (primarily from Spain)
  • Strong interest in service, operations and execution
  • Comfortable in fast-paced environments with direct feedback
  • English required (Spanish a plus)

How the Internship Works

  • Duration: 6 months (extension up to 12 months based on performance)
  • Working model: full operational shifts, no shadowing
  • Standards: speed, clarity, presentation and ownership

You are scheduled as part of the team from day one.

Rotation & Responsibilities

You rotate across the YOUNG Hospitality ecosystem to gain a full operational view:

Hotel Operations

  • Front office: check-ins/outs, reservations, guest communication
  • Daily hotel rhythm, systems and service standards

Food & Beverage

  • Breakfast service, runners support, events setup & breakdown
  • Service flow, timing, cleanliness and teamwork

YOUNG Coffee

  • Coffee stations and customer-facing execution
  • Speed, quality and accountability under pressure

Support Operations / Workspaces

  • Setup, stock control, planning and checklists
  • Execution discipline behind the scenes

Rotation is earned, not automatic and based on business needs.
You move once you can run tasks independently.

Learning by Doing

At the end of each rotation, you deliver a short Improvement Snapshot:

  • What worked well
  • Where friction exists
  • Practical improvement ideas
  • Personal learnings

This trains you to think like an operator, not just an executor.

What Success Looks Like

By the end of the internship, a successful intern:

  • Runs core operational tasks independently
  • Delivers consistent service quality
  • Shows ownership and accountability
  • Understands the full YOUNG Hospitality ecosystem

High performers may:

  • Extend the internship
  • Transition into paid roles
  • Stay within the YOUNG ecosystem
