Host - Young Coffee

We’re opening our first flagship café in Valencia. This location matters: it will define how Young Coffee feels, operates, and shows up every day.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
This is a floor-first role.
You are the face of Young Coffee on a daily basis: welcoming people in, preparing great coffee, and keeping the café running calmly and smoothly.
You’re not managing from behind a desk. You’re present, hands-on and attentive, while also helping shape the daily rhythm, routines, and standards of the café together with the YOUNG team.
Your Mission
Create a great café experience every day and help build simple, reliable ways of working that make the café easy to run and enjoyable to be in.
What You’ll Do
On the Floor
- Be the main host and barista, delivering warm, thoughtful service
- Prepare and serve coffee and drinks to a high standard
- Create a calm, welcoming atmosphere people want to return to
- Build natural relationships with regular customers
Daily Operations
- Open and close the café following clear routines
- Keep the space clean, organized, and well stocked
- Work with daily checklists and help improve them over time
- Spot issues early and flag them clearly
Standards & Ownership
- Set the tone through your attitude, consistency, and reliability
- Help maintain the same level of quality across every shift
- Support onboarding or training as the team grows
Who You Are
- You have experience in hospitality or customer-facing roles
(barista or specialty coffee experience is a plus, not a requirement) - You genuinely enjoy serving people and being present on the floor
- You’re reliable, organized, and calm: even during busy moments
- You’re comfortable taking ownership of a shift and working independently
- You’re based in Valencia and available to work on-site
