Our Process

Finding the Right Match Together

At Young Talent, we believe that a CV only tells part of the story.

Your experience and skills are important, but so are your personality, motivation, communication style, and career ambitions. That’s why we’ve designed a transparent, personal, and efficient recruitment process that helps us get to know you beyond your resume.

Our goal is simple: to create long-term matches where both the candidate and the employer can thrive.

Step 1 – Apply Online

Found a role that excites you?

Simply submit your application through our careers website by uploading your CV and completing the application form.

You don’t need to write a lengthy cover letter—we’ll have plenty of opportunities to get to know each other throughout the recruitment process.

Once we receive your application, our recruitment team will carefully review your profile.

Step 2 – Introduce Yourself with a Short Video

After submitting your application, you’ll be invited to record a short introduction video.

Why do we ask for a video?

A CV tells us what you’ve done. A short video helps us understand who you are.

We’re interested in your personality, communication style, enthusiasm, and motivation—not a perfect presentation.

Don’t worry about making it flawless. Simply be yourself.

Your video could include:

  • A brief introduction about yourself
  • Why you’re interested in the position
  • What motivates you professionally
  • Why you believe you’re a great fit

The video should take approximately 2–3 minutes.

Step 3 – Initial Review

Our recruiters evaluate every application based on several factors, including:

  • Your CV and professional experience
  • Your motivation
  • Your introduction video
  • Your overall fit for the position

If we believe there’s a strong potential match, we’ll invite you to continue to the next stage.

If the role isn’t the right fit, we’ll let you know as quickly as possible.

Step 4 – DISC Personality Assessment

Before scheduling your first interview, we’ll invite you to complete a DISC personality assessment.

Many candidates are unfamiliar with DISC, but there’s no need to worry.

This is not a test that you can pass or fail.

We use DISC simply to better understand:

  • Your communication style
  • How you naturally collaborate with others
  • Your preferred working environment
  • Your behavioural strengths

The assessment helps us determine whether the role and company culture are a great match for you.

Our goal isn’t to eliminate candidates—it’s to make better hiring decisions for everyone involved.

Step 5 – First Interview

After a positive review of your application and DISC assessment, we’ll schedule your first interview.

This conversation is an opportunity for us to get to know each other in more detail.

We’ll discuss:

  • Your experience
  • Your career goals
  • Your strengths
  • The role and responsibilities
  • The company and its culture
  • Any questions you may have

Remember, recruitment works both ways.

While we’re assessing whether you’re the right fit for the role, you should also determine whether the opportunity is the right fit for you.

Additional Interview Rounds

Depending on the position, there may be one or more additional interview rounds.

These could include conversations with:

  • The Hiring Manager
  • Future colleagues
  • Department leaders
  • Company founders or executives

Some positions may also include a practical assignment or business case. If that’s the case, we’ll always communicate this in advance.

Why We Recruit This Way

At Young Talent, we believe successful recruitment goes beyond matching skills to job descriptions.

The best long-term hires happen when experience, personality, motivation, communication style, and company culture all align.

By combining a CV, a short introduction video, a DISC assessment, and meaningful conversations, we’re able to build a much more complete picture of every candidate.

This allows us to create stronger, longer-lasting matches that benefit both candidates and employers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the introduction video mandatory?

Yes. The introduction video is a standard part of our recruitment process. It helps us get to know you beyond your CV and allows us to assess applications more fairly and efficiently.

How long should my video be?

We recommend keeping your video between 2 and 3 minutes.

Does the video need to be professionally recorded?

Not at all.

A simple recording using your smartphone or laptop is perfectly fine. We’re interested in you—not your editing skills.

Is the DISC assessment a test?

No.

There are no right or wrong answers. DISC simply helps us understand your natural working style and communication preferences.

How long does the recruitment process take?

The timeline depends on the position, but most recruitment processes are completed within 5 to 10 business days.

We’ll keep you informed throughout every stage of the process.
